Senior Software Engineer
Bentley Systems, Incorporated, Exton, PA, is opening for a Senior Software Engineer. This role is responsible for developing secure, scalable, high-performance backend services using advanced security practices in a multi-cloud environment. The candidate will design resilient microservices architectures, participate in architectural and design discussions, and create detailed documentation and technical specifications. Requirements include a U.S. Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science and 5 years of software engineering experience, along with 5 years' experience in: Extending and customizing Kubernetes via custom controllers, operators, and CRDs using Golang to develop cloud-agnostic orchestration platforms. Developing polyglot containerized microservices in Golang, C#, and Node.js, following cloud-native principles and leveraging modern protocols (gRPC, HTTP 2/3, Websockets). Implementing microservices networking with service meshes, mTLS, and network policies for secure communication and API protection via OAuth. Implementing DevOps YAML-based CI/CD pipelines to deploy microservices across multi-cloud environments (Azure, GKE, AWS). Applying DevSecOps practices to secure web and microservices through integrated SAST, SCA and penetration testing tools like OWASP ZAP and Burp Suite. Developing comprehensive monitoring, logging, tracing, and analytics solutions for microservices using observability and ETL tools.
