The Consumer Protection Section, Antitrust Unit is seeking an experienced attorney to join a hardworking and creative team of professionals protecting competition in Colorado. This is a great opportunity for attorneys who are passionate about antitrust law, merger review, and litigation. The Antitrust Unit investigates and enforces violations of federal and state antitrust laws. In addition to joining an energetic team, this is a unique opportunity to work on high-profile cases for a nationally-recognized leader in antitrust and consumer protection lawColorado Attorney General Phil Weiser. The Assistant Attorney General in the Antitrust Unit is expected to handle a caseload and to be able to conduct investigations and enforcement actions both independently and in partnership with other AAGs and support staff. As the attorney assigned to a case, you will be responsible for creating and executing investigation plans, analyzing potential violations of the antitrust laws, negotiating settlements, and litigating cases in both state and federal court. You will also oversee the work of paralegals and staff, and will frequently collaborate with other local, state, and federal agencies, as well as with other AAGs around the country.
