Requisition ID 2024-150761 Position Category Scientific, Research & Analysis Clearance Top Secret/SCI w/Poly Responsibilities At Peraton Labs, we seek candidates with a strong background in software development and networking for full-time roles in our network system group. The role involves researching, designing, and developing prototypes and operational software, requiring the ability to tackle complex problems. Projects will span research, prototyping, development, verification, and certification of software. The position is full-time at a customer facility, requiring collaboration with customer, Peraton Labs, and subcontractor teams, with on-site work in College Park or Laurel, Maryland.
Qualifications Six (6) years of experience in application prototype development and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or a Master's with four (4) years experience, or a Ph.D with two (2) years experience. Alternatively, 10 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, Java, or related languages.
Experience coding in Linux environments.
Strong systems skills (Linux, Windows, Shell Scripting, VM Technologies).
Experience with design, development, testing, verification, and certification of operational software is highly desirable.
Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
Minimum Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI w/ Polygraph
