Responsibilities
Own design and delivery of full stack product features as a Staff Software Engineer.
Scope out and build data solutions to green-field problems at scale, including work with customers to define the problem, select tools and technologies, implement and validate production-grade software, and deployment.
Build key product features with direct impact on company success; work closely with customers to understand problems and requirements.
Generalize work and build abstractions to improve integration with common data stack technologies.
Requirements
Minimum 8 years of writing production-grade software, ideally with experience at a B2B SaaS company.
Experience with a modern object-oriented language such as Python, Go, and Java.
Strong experience with React and have led frontend projects.
Cross-functional ownership of the lifecycle of building novel solutions from development to deployment.
Stays up-to-date with software development and data-space developments; comfortable reading technical papers and reproducing results in production.
Experience with various backend technologies, including Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Pulumi), relational and NoSQL databases, and modern API frameworks.
Excited about solving big data stack challenges and building applications leveraging these technologies.
Thrives in fast-paced environments with ownership and self-sufficiency; comfortable in unstructured environments as opportunities for growth and leadership.
