Electromechanical Technician

Perform periodic inspection and maintenance on packaging equipment, processing equipment, storage systems, plant utilities and other mechanical and electrical systems with limited guidance. Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the reliability of plant assets while troubleshooting machinery and automation failures as necessary. Conduct advanced troubleshooting of machinery and automation failures, including motor control devices, input sensing devices and other output devices. Participate in the design and installation of new or upgraded equipment and machinery. Implement and modify programming with direction. Required Qualifications: Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship Must be 18 years or older Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above) Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written) Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts with advance notice Basic comper skills Experience working in a production or plant environment Minimum of one year of experience with industrial electrical automation and any mechanical maintenance trade Preferred Qualifications: Experience operating forklifts and/or similar equipment Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP Experience with inventory system Experience performing maintenance trades such as welding, pipefitting, fabrication, rigging systems, gearbox and bearings, lubrication, pump and piping systems, or hydraulics and pneumatics Considered candidates will receive a phone call from a (952) area code.
