Senior Software Engineer (Data Processing)
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Data Processing) to join the Financial Crimes Technology Data Team within Enterprise Functions Technology. The Financial Crimes Technology Data Team sources, controls, and manages data for use with multiple Financial Crimes use cases like Transaction Monitoring, Investigations, Risk Assessment, etc. As a Senior Software Engineer in this organization, you would work alongside other talented engineers to deliver value through data to our business partners. The Senior Software Engineering role covers a wide range of opportunities in areas like discovery, design, development, testing, documentation, and analysis. In this role, you will: Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments Contribute to large scale planning of strategies Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff Required Qualifications: 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: Experience facilitating meetings with participants at various levels of experience in different lines of business Ability to communicate effectively with business partners, product owners, vendors, and project managers Financial Crimes Regulatory experience Experience with SQL, Teradata, Ab Initio, Python, Autosys, and Big Data Familiar with Data Processing Design Able to lead meetings with Stakeholders Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Experience with Jira Advanced problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities Job Expectations: This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship. This position offers a hybrid work schedule. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Ability to travel up to 5% of the time Pay Range: Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates. $100,000.00 - $196,000.00.
