The Director, Business Transformation Management is responsible for the management (planning, organizing and implementation) of large complex strategic projects as part of the Business Transformation Office. This program consists of highly visible initiatives with significant impact on business or product viability and ranging across multiple disciplines, businesses, and/or organizations. The incumbent is responsible for the success of organizational strategic and business objectives through the coordinated management of all programs and projects under their purview, and with a focus on resource planning, project management, and prioritization competing needs of the overall business. The Director will manage stakeholder and executive level sponsor expectations. Responsible for defining program resource requirements and serves as the key program day-to-day operational interface between all program stakeholders. The incumbent will be responsible for reporting on the health and overall program efforts with sound metrics and analytics. They facilitate Steering Committee and/or Executive Committee level program team status meetings and all other communications. Provides end-to-end project management ownership of scope, schedule, budget, risks and issues management for a portfolio of project supporting various business lines. Collaborates with business leaders partners to support and help create a compelling product vision, strategy and roadmap, and drive products and features from concept to launch in an iterative, fast-paced environment. Provides program direction and leadership; effectively communicating program updates including project health and project status (plans, key metrics, and budgets) to executive sponsors, business stakeholders and project team members in line with appropriate governance. Develops presentations, dashboards, reports and other team and executive level project communications and documentation. Engages and develops a high functioning team to deliver business results, with a forward-looking emphasis on mitigating risks and removing roadblocks. Participates in business case development, writing, and delivery, cost-benefit analysis, ROI-projections as well as the entire project funding process. Performs project planning with applicable stakeholders to establish an overall project definition and plan, including key milestones, and drives progress to achieve project plan within time and budget constraints. Understand and coordinate sequencing of projects to accomplish progress. Supports complex initiatives affecting multiple functions or businesses. Develops, communicates and implements project risk mitigation plans (i.e. identifies critical path, documents, plans for Return to Green, business continuity plan, etc.) to effectively monitor risk and enable accountability and responsibility. Evaluates existing processes and procedures. Makes recommendations and drives process improvement and adoption of best practices (processes, tools, etc.) to improve team efficiency and effectiveness. Fosters collaboration and teamwork between internal resources and third parties/vendors for the seamless execution of projects. Contribute to the development, testing, and refinement of digital innovations. Collaborates with Risk partners to support the closure of third party, self-identified, and/or audit findings. Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience: Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent field. Required. Masters Degree: Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent field. Preferred. 9+ Years Relevant Financial Program management experience, with a track record of delivering successful results. Required. 9+ Years Experience in building and maintaining complex stakeholder relationships at multiple levels. Required. 9+ Years Extensive experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders, building and maintaining professional relationships, and providing consistent and dependable support. Required. 9+ Years Developing and coaching others indirectly or directly. Coaches, reviews and delegating work across the team. Required. Ability to manage resources, set scope, time scales, and deliverables, recognizing changing requirements and addressing program impacts across entire project portfolio. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels in the organization. Demonstrated ability to build strong trusted relationships and foster collaboration and teamwork in a variety of settings. Ability to communicate effectively with and influence senior leadership on matters of strategic importance. Ability to develop and coach others indirectly or directly and serve as a role model. Ability to engage the support and resources of others to achieve project goals and objectives; influencing without authority. Advanced knowledge of project and portfolio management tools (i.e. Clarity, Visio, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, etc.). Ability to recognize potential roadblocks/obstacles, mitigating them when possible and escalating as needed. Familiarity with business case creation, financial tracking, forecasting and budgeting. Demonstrates the ability to create strategic plans and lay out a strategic course of action to drive future business growth for a specific product. Possess the agility to react and effectively manage competing priorities. Ability to provide and receive constructive criticism, feedback and solutions. Self-starter: forward thinking, with a positive/can-do attitude. Strong background in banking products and services. Knowledge and expertise in the use of project management, PMLC and SDLC methodologies and tools (i.e. Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, Iterative). Ability to research, interpret, and incorporate industry and other best practices into project management processes. The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
