Warehouse Inventory Specialist
Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Inventory Specialist in Etna, Ohio. Positions pay weekly with hourly pay of $17.50 per hour and overtime pay of $26.25 per hour. Schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm. We want the right Warehouse Associate to join us at Ryder and work in the safest supply chain environment with state of the art equipment. Products being handled include clothing and retail items. Equipment includes an RF scanner and an iPad. Various warehouse fulfillment specialist roles at Ryder support distribution across the US. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, one or more years of previous warehouse experience, one or more years of experience operating forklift equipment, and one or more years of Microsoft Office experience. Depending on location, equipment certification may be required. Ability to recognize and read location, date, and product codes, strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to create and maintain professional relationships, ability to work independently and as a member of a team, flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment, capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills, and detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices. Responsibilities include conducting cycle counts and inventory audits, conducting audits of inbound and outbound shipments, participating in physical inventories as necessary, providing floor support to operation supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues, resolving inventory discrepancies as needed, maintaining good manufacturing practices with emphasis on safety, ensuring inventory accuracy to meet client demands, and performing other duties as assigned.
