Unarmed Security Officer

IPSC has been offering security officer patrol services since 1977 and has expanded to provide a range of security-related services. We want you to join us as we relentlessly pursue excellence in security from a heart of service to others. IPSC is hiring licensed unarmed security guards to work in Kissimmee, FL. This is a driving patrol post at a Walmart. The rate is $16.00 per hour and is paid weekly. Schedule: Thursday- 6pm-2am Friday-12pm-2am Saturday-12pm-2am. Candidates must be at least 25 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record. Prior law enforcement, military, and/or security experience is a plus. Full-time and part-time positions available. Retirees and veterans are welcome. Must be able to pass a drug screen and must have reliable transportation and an active cell phone number. Florida D Security Guard license is required for this position. Benefits offered include: Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance. Physical and Mental Job Requirements: Must have effective written and verbal communication skills and must be able to communicate clearly and quickly in cases of emergency. A Security Officer must be able to read and interpret written information under a variety of circumstances. A Security Officer must be able to drive a motor vehicle in the course of his/her duties if required. A Security Officer must be able to detect and identify sounds relevant to fires, floods, alarm signals, and persons in distress against distracting sound background conditions. A Security Officer must be able to: Walk, Run, Stand, Climb, Sit. A Security Officer must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. waist high, if required. A Security Officer must be in good mental health and be able to make decisions instantly on the event of an emergency. A Security Officer must meet the physical and mental requirements of the state(s) to be licensed by the state to perform Security Guard / Security Officer work.
