Lead the environmental engineering technical support in the day-to-day operation of a wet corn milling production facility that produces a diversified line of food ingredients, ethanol, corn oil and animal feed. This includes using technical knowledge and skills to partner with employees at all levels to ensure compliance with all environmental regulations by applying for new and modified permits, updating environmental programs, developing engineering solutions, and functioning as a strong advocate concerning environmental matters to enable ADM to be proactive in meeting environmental responsibilities. Position also responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of the plant's Environmental Management System (EMS).

Essential Job Functions

5+ years of significant environmental engineering experience, preferably in a manufacturing industry. Must have strong engineering knowledge, as well as excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills with all levels of the organization. Strong ability to use computers. High energy level and clear customer focus. Proactive approach to dealing with issues to assure that the law is obeyed and that actions are taken to avoid similar issues in the future. Must be able to accomplish results by working effectively with others and be willing and able to work in plant areas (i.e. walk long distances, stand, climb stairs and ladders and move through close spaces) to understand and monitor the process. Excellent leadership capabilities. Ability to select and develop employees, and to achieve objectives through others. Must be able to respond quickly to changing requirements and be capable of working in hot and cold temperatures. Job Requirements

BS degree in Environmental/Engineering/or related discipline preferred. 5+ years' experience in an environmental compliance role. Previous plant experience. Development and implementation of an environmental management system. Must have strong engineering knowledge, as well as excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Dust Chemicals / Irritants

The scope of the position may have exposure to and use of chemicals, solvents, and cleaners that may be hazardous and/or cause injury if specific instructions regarding their mixture, use, and disposal/storage are not properly followed.

Inside areas:

Spring / Summer: Temperatures in some areas of the facility will be up to or exceed 100 degrees Fall / Winter: Temperatures in the facility may be at or below freezing.

Outside areas:

Spring / Summer: Outside temperature may be up to or exceed 100 degrees with potential for high humidity. May be exposed to inclement weather conditions including, but not limited to, rain and wind. Fall / Winter: Outside temperatures may reach freezing or below. May be exposed to inclement weather including, freezing rain, sleet, snow and wind.

Some manufacturing processes within the facility are highly reliant on machinery and other processing equipment and, as a result, noise levels may reach or exceed 85 decibels and require use of hearing protection for most of the work shift. Physical Requirements

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors. The pay range for this position is expected to be between: $92,800.00 - $173,600.00 Salaried Incentive Plan The total compensation package for this position will also include annual bonus Benefits and Perks
