Position Type: Faculty Work Hours/Week: 40 Description of Work Unit: The Department of Management is one of five academic departments in the College of Business. The Department currently has 20 tenure-track faculty, nine contract and continuing faculty, one senior research scholar, and two postdoctoral researchers who serve approximately 3,300 business majors, over 1,000 business minors, and 1,000 graduate students. With robust research support and a collaborative research community, Department faculty excel in publishing in top management and disciplinary journals. Additionally, the Department excels in maintaining up-to-date and impactful curricula, and its faculty members receive widespread recognition for their teaching excellence. Number of Vacancies Desired Start Date: August 16th, 2026 Position Summary: The Department of Management at Colorado State University invites applications and nominations for an advanced Assistant or Associate Professor (tenure-track or tenured faculty) with expertise in Business Sustainability. This position reports directly to the Department Chair in the Department of Management at the College of Business. The start date for a Fall 2026 appointment is August 16th, 2026. Responsibilities include: conducting research leading to scholarly publication in leading academic journals; teaching undergraduate and/or graduate management courses aligned with Departmental needs; and providing service to the College, University, profession, and community (service expectations are commensurate with rank). An impactful research program with a strong and clear focus at the intersection of organizations and environmental sustainability, organizational responses to environmental challenges, and/or enterprise solutions to ecological challenges. Preferred Job Qualifications: Evidence of curricular innovation in sustainability (e.g., new course development, experiential learning, etc.). Evidence of programmatic research impact in business sustainability. Evidence of service impact that builds departmental/college capacity in sustainability; and Demonstrated ability and motivation to contribute to a productive and collaborative interdisciplinary community of scholars.
