Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Construction Project Manager

to oversee and manage government construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience navigating the unique demands of public sector contracts, managing multiple subcontractors, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and delivering projects on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and manage construction projects for government clients (federal, state, local) Oversee on-site operations and ensure compliance with contract documents, safety standards, and government regulations Collaborate with estimators, superintendents, subcontractors, and procurement teams Manage project schedules, budgets, and documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and meetings with stakeholders Serve as the point of contact for government agencies and ensure all reporting, communication, and documentation meet contract standards Ensure adherence to quality standards, prevailing wage requirements, and project specifications Maintain accurate project records and support audit readiness

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is Previous experience as a Construction Manager Project management certification is Deep understanding of construction management methods and processes Advanced knowledge of construction methods, building products, and building codes Strong leadership and crisis resolution skills Familiar with Microsoft Excel and construction management software Ability to break large projects into small steps Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a strong emphasis on government or public sector contracts Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar government construction projects Deep understanding of FAR, Davis-Bacon Act, and other federal regulations Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar) Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) OSHA 30 certification Ability to travel to job sites as needed
