Contract Logistics Specialist

It's more than a job. As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. Then consider joining us as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk at our site in Durham, North Carolina. You will report to a Supervisor and use a WMS (Warehouse Management System) to work with receivers to supply paperwork and create reporting for all shipping and receiving activities. You will work Monday - Friday, 10:30am - 7:00pm and will be paid weekly at $21.41 per hour. How you create impact: Validate and record inbound and outbound data manually and systematically (WMS) Maintain records of all outgoing and incoming shipments Ensure accuracy, prepare and create pick list, packing list, and POD (Point of Delivery) recovery for inbound or outbound activities Communicate with carriers, customer, operations, and management Perform clerical responsibilities such as filing, inbound/outbound phone calls, use of radio, data entry Verify and receive product into inventory What we would like you to bring: High School Diploma or equivalent 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of order entry systems WMS and customer service experience What's in it for you: There has never been a better time to work in logistics.
