Job Title: Electrician – Finish Electrical Work (Hospital Project)Location: Summerville, SCProject Duration: 6 MonthsSchedule: Full-Time, Minimum 40 Hours/WeekStart Date: ASAPPay: Competitive, based on experienceWe are hiring experienced Electricians for a 6-month project at a hospital in Summerville, SC. This role involves finish electrical work, including the installation of receptacles, switches, lighting fixtures, and terminations. Candidates must be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working in a fast-paced healthcare construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and terminate electrical devices such as outlets, switches, and lighting.
- Perform final trim-out and finish work in patient rooms, corridors, and utility areas.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and specifications.
- Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and hospital standards.
- Collaborate with other trades and site supervisors to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial electrical experience (healthcare experience preferred).
- Proficient in finish electrical work and device installation.
- Ability to read and follow electrical plans and wiring diagrams.
- Familiarity with hospital safety protocols and infection control measures is a plus.
- Must have basic hand tools and PPE.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
