Plant Engineer

We are seeking a Plant Engineer to join our manufacturing team in Kokomo, Indiana. This role leads capital projects, oversees design and implementation, and provides on-site construction management. The Plant Engineer ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while supporting continuous improvement across the mill. Responsibilities: · Prepare and review drawings, specifications, and project documents · Coordinate with vendors on equipment and design needs · Develop piping, mechanical, structural, and electrical design requirements · Work with operations and E&I technicians on process controls · Supervise consultants and contractors on design and construction activities · Write bid packages, scopes of work, and requisitions for materials and equipment · Manage on-site construction and fabrication work · Track project schedules and costs, reporting progress weekly · Enforce safety standards and maintain compliance records Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field (preferred) · 5 years of project engineering experience · 5 years with electrical power distribution · 3 years in an industrial environment (pulp & paper or converting/printing experience is a plus) · Proficiency with AutoCAD and 3D modeling software (SolidWorks or equivalent) · Strong problem-solving and leadership skills · Commitment to safety and teamwork Additional Information: · Day shift schedule, occasional off-shift call-in as needed · Nationwide candidates considered – relocation assistance available · On-site position, not remote If you’re a driven engineer ready to take on challenging projects in a dynamic mill environment, we encourage you to apply today.aa415a4b-8b21-40fc-a65c-70d2b25ca29a
