BWRX-300 Systems Integration Technical Leader

The BWRX-300 Systems Integration Technical Leader will be responsible for providing leadership, direction, development, and resource management of a technical team of engineers supporting GEH Nuclear. In addition, you will manage complex issues within the functional area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall engineering strategy. Essential Responsibilities

As the Technical Leader BWRX-300 Systems Integration Engineering you will: Have ownership and accountability for plant integrated systems from licensing through final design for construction up to plant turnover to the customer, requirements management, change control, and engineering activities that manage the NI/TI interfaces with partners and suppliers in support of GEH Nuclear spanning the entire portfolio. Be responsible for the coordination associated with New Product Introduction (NPI) efforts, be responsible for oversight of the product technology decisions and be the escalation point and oversight for technical issue resolution. Work across engineering teams to ensure effective interdisciplinary detailed design interfaces are established and maintained, resolve inter-disciplinary issues, plan/support independent design reviews, and provide oversight of plant security issues, e.g., Safeguards Information classification, Sensitive Unclassified Nuclear Safeguards Information (SUNSI) classification and associated Cyber Security issues. Have accountability for delivering products and services on-time and on-budget. Be responsible for team resource planning and project/program assignments. Work collaboratively across the engineering matrix and with business leaders in Product Development, Project Delivery, Sourcing, and Quality to ensure close coordination of technical inputs/outputs, project/product requirements, workforce planning/scheduling, and risk management. Have ownership to streamline, integrate, and develop team technical and management processes to better support business needs across the organization through Lean and/or Six Sigma methodology. Act as a technical liaise with customers, partner organizations, and suppliers as necessary and in close partnership/coordination with Product Development and Project Delivery leaders. Partner with business teams and present product/program strategies, technical roadmaps, risks, and recommendations to senior leads across GEH. Required Qualifications

B.S. Degree in Engineering Discipline (Nuclear, Mechanical, Chemical or similar). Minimum 7 years of experience in a technology or engineering role. Eligibility Requirements

For the United States the preferred work location for this role is at the GE Vernova Nuclear Energy Headquarters in Wilmington, NC; but highly qualified (US based) remote candidates will be considered. This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on the ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government. For Canada this role requires working two days a week onsite in the Markham Ontario office. GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in Canada for this opening. The base pay range for this position is $112 - $160K. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 9/12/25. The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
