Job Summary The Director of Product Marketing is responsible for developing and executing product marketing strategies to support Allvue’s growth objectives. This role reports to the Head of Marketing and works closely with cross-functional teams—including Product Management, Sales, and Customer Success—to align messaging, positioning, and go-to-market plans across Allvue’s product suite. The individual in this role is expected to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, demonstrating strong analytical capabilities, customer insight, and a results-oriented approach. Success in this role requires the ability to manage multiple initiatives, communicate effectively across teams, and bring a deep understanding of B2B financial services marketing within a fast-paced, evolving environment. The Director leads Allvue’s core product marketing function, managing Product Marketing Managers responsible for multiple product segments. This hands-on leadership role owns cross-segment launches and ensures market fit, competitive positioning, and go-to-market readiness across the portfolio. The Director sets the vision for product marketing, ensures consistent GTM execution, and partners closely with Product Management, Sales, Customer Experience, and the broader Marketing team to accelerate adoption, drive revenue growth, and strengthen Allvue’s leadership position. Responsibilities
Product Launch
Help determine launch approach, product market fit milestones, level and type of marketing needed for a given launch tier, and field readiness across customer facing teams Spearhead successful product launches by synchronizing efforts across teams to ensure a cohesive and impactful introduction of our solutions to the market Plan and execute integrated marketing programs to maximize, visibility, reach and impact of product launches
Messaging and positioning
Develop and maintain solution-specific messaging, positioning, and value propositions tailored to target personas. Ensure messaging is informed by market insights, competitive differentiation, and product capabilities Partner with Product, Sales, and Customer Experience to ensure messaging is consistently applied across all channels, campaigns, and enablement materials, reinforcing Allvue’s brand and competitive position
Sales Enablement
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop solution-specific marketing programs for target personas and ICPs Support GTM readiness through the development and delivery of sales enablement tools (e.g. FAQs, data sheets, presentations, and demos) Create compelling content for all stages of the funnel with a focus on mid-to-bottom of funnel content
Campaign & Channel Activation
Ensure product marketing strategy is integrated into channel programs, events, and digital marketing initiatives Partner with Demand Generation, Field Marketing, and Partner Marketing to activate campaigns that amplify product launches and accelerate adoption. Collaborate with PR & Communications on product-related assets, media outreach, and thought leadership
Leadership & Team Management
Lead, mentor, and develop the product marketing team Set clear priorities, KPIs, and career development plans for team members Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture that emphasizes strategic thinking and cross-functional partnership
Requirements
8+ years of experience in product marketing, with a focus on fintech, financial services or similar industry like consulting, investment banking, or private equity Strong preference for candidates with experience in alternative investments and prior people management responsibility in product marketing. Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional GTM initiatives, product launches, and sales enablement programs. Skilled with PCs and Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Working knowledge of Salesforce, Canva, WordPress, and HubSpot is beneficial Excellent English written and verbal communication Education / Certifications
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Finance, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus What We Offer
