Driver Helper

The Driver Helper is responsible for providing support to our truck drivers, by breaking down pallets, organizing and separating orders as needed, unloading products from trucks to customer's premises. All activities must be accomplished according to customer guidelines and while adhering to safety regulations. The Driver Helper must provide exceptional customer service and assists driver in maintaining the conditions of the truck and all cargo. What you'll do: Help deliver products to customer locations within delivery window time frames. Have excellent customer service skills, handle customer concerns in a positive and professional manner. Do physical work and lift up to 50+ lbs. About you: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects repeatedly, including cases and pallets of food products. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. Attention to detail and accuracy in verifying product quantities and quality. Flexibility to work in different weather conditions and adapt to changing delivery schedules. Basic knowledge of traffic regulations and ability to navigate using GPS or maps. Previous experience in a delivery or warehouse environment is a plus. Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines. Physical stamina and endurance to perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
