Position Summary: Performs and monitors echocardiogram (cardiac ultrasound) procedures. Calculates, measures, and documents appropriate values on the tests performed for review and interpretation by physicians. Communicates with physicians, managers, and co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical conditions while undergoing echocardiogram. Qualifications Completion of a formal accredited Cardiovascular Sonography/Echocardiography Tech program. 1+ years of experience preferred as an Echocardiograph Sonographer in all modalities of Echo/Vascular (inpatient testing for neonate, pediatrics, adolescent), adult and geriatric patients. Current BLS Must be registered with ARDMS or CCI within 6 months of hire. if registered with ARDMS, RDCS is required if registered with CCI, RCS is required
