Twice a year we bring the whole company together for offsites in beautiful places around the world. About the role: In October 2024, Circle released an exciting new extension: Email Hub. We're looking for a Senior Front-end Software Engineer to join the Email Hub team to work on Email Workflows and Editor. Responsibilities

In this role you will partake in all stages of the development lifecycle, from task definition to deployment. As a senior engineer, you'll break down large epics into actionable tasks, follow through with development and testing, review PRs, push updates to production, and release behind feature flags. You will also be responsible for bug-fixing and continuous improvement of the codebase. This role requires a high level of technical proficiency and strong software development best practices. Work autonomously on a frontend architecture written in React and Tailwind CSS. Integrate with our Ruby on Rails backend via a REST API. Build features and improvements for Circle's community platform, Email Hub, and Workflows (automation) tools. Improve code quality, identify architectural deficiencies, and create achievable paths to evolve them. Collaborate with Circle's leaders during the feature spec and design process. Partner with designers to design and develop a world-class user experience. Qualifications

5+ years experience as a Front-end engineer on complex web applications. Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and API integration. Strong judgment and attention to detail in architectural, product, design, and process decisions; ability to inspire trust within the team. Desire to work in an environment valuing speed of iteration, autonomy, accountability, and collaboration in a dynamic team. Motivation to understand the business, users, and goals to deliver results. Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with some ambiguity. Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. Adaptable with the ability to change direction quickly. Familiar with Agile software development principles. Ability to lead a complex project end-to-end with sound judgment and attention to detail. Experience working on a fully distributed remote team. Experience with community platforms. Experience with Ruby on Rails backend. Experience with Email editors, deliverability, workflows, or the creator space. Experience at a fast-growing startup. Track record of picking up new technologies and shipping high-quality code. Compensation

$130,000 - $140,000 USD per year The cash compensation range shown is a starting point. In addition to equity, benefits and perks, your cash compensation is subject to an annual review and increase on a once per year basis. Benefits & Perks
