Data Analytics / Bi Developer Intern - Summer 2026

As a Data Analytics / Bi Developer Intern, you will support our Business Intelligence and Data Analytics team in building metrics, dashboards, and data visualizations that help leadership make informed decisions. You will gain hands-on experience working with Bi tools, data modeling, and visualization techniques, while collaborating with technical and functional experts. This role offers an opportunity to learn how to transform complex data into clear, compelling insights that drive business outcomes. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and you will be required to report to the Arlington, Va office. Responsibilities: Assist in gathering analytical requirements from subject matter experts. Support the design and development of data models that optimize analytical reporting. Help build dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support end-user reporting needs. Contribute to data preparation tasks such as extraction, transformation, and cleansing. Learn to interpret data trends and present findings in a clear and accessible way. Collaborate with team members to document processes and reporting standards. Qualifications: Required: Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science, engineering, applied math, information systems, business analytics, or a related field. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain applicable security clearance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Desired: Familiarity with Bi tools such as Power Bi, Tableau, or Looker. Knowledge of SQL or other data query languages. Previous academic, project, or internship experience with data visualization or analysis. Minimum GPA of 3.0.
