Managing AWS database services (RDS, MySQL, Aurora, Redshift, DynamoDB) and maintaining legacy on-prem SQL Server environments. Providing 24/7 support to ensure database availability, performance, and reliability. Overseeing SQL Server Agent jobs, while performing routine maintenance (backups, patching, upgrades), and support of both production and non-production environments. Troubleshooting job failures and ensuring smooth code deployments and schema changes. Optimizing database performance through index tuning, query reviews, and schema design. Developing automated scripts for recurring administrative and monitoring tasks to improve efficiency. Implementing and enforcing database security policies including encryption and access controls. Ensuring compliance with standards like HIPAA, GDPR, and ISO27001 through documentation and governance practices. You're the right fit if: You've acquired 5+ years of experience with Bachelor's or 3+ years with Master's in database administration. Your skills include: Deep expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, including installation, configuration, and migration across multiple versions. Skilled in T-SQL development, query optimization, and designing efficient stored procedures. Proficiency in AWS database services such as RDS, Aurora, Redshift, and DynamoDB, with an understanding of the AWS shared responsibility model. Experienced in setting up and troubleshooting SQL Server replication, including transactional and merge types. You have a Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Data Analytics, Statistical Techniques, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent years of experience. You're a strong communicator with a talent for analytics and problem-solving and are a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. This is an office role. We are a health technology company. Do the work of your life to help improve the lives of others. The pay range for this position in Malvern, PA is $123,000 to $196,000. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
