Responsibilities include generating new business to expand the current customer base, supporting existing clientele, providing exceptional customer service, submitting accurate and timely sales quotations, maintaining a healthy pipeline, attending site visits, pre-conference planning meetings, venue meetings, and industry functions. Revenue generation involves meeting and exceeding company sales goals, understanding event cost structure, and identifying and securing exclusive and preferred status agreements. This position requires moderate to considerable travel to customer and vendor sites with minimal overnight travel. Position requirements include extensive experience in B2B sales with an emphasis on the hospitality industry, hotel sales, Fortune 100/500, Pharmaceutical/Healthcare industries, marketing, and comfort selling live event and virtual/hybrid technology.
