Overview

I have a unique opportunity for one of our top tier investment banks in Midtown. This role will have high visibility and is reporting to the Director. It is 3 days onsite in Midtown and 2 days remote. This role can be contract or full time for the right candidate. Salary: $175k-$185k. Position Summary

The Project Manager (PM) is accountable for leading and delivering projects through all phases of the Project Delivery Life Cycle (PDLC). The PM is responsible for overall project communications, planning, governance, scope, budget, issue, risk and escalation management. The PM will coordinate and manage all aspects of select IT projects across the firm’s IT portfolio—IT Security projects, office buildouts, training programs, data backup, power-downs, end-user training, communications, and cross-department coordination with Management and Operations and banking groups. The PM will maintain a master project plan, keep the project on schedule, anticipate delays or dependencies, and alert management to potential issues. They will work with bankers and staff during deployment to confirm adoption, ensure appropriate training, and gather feedback for the project team. The role requires excellent organizational and communications skills and experience with enterprise system deployments, a service-oriented mentality, proactive problem-solving, and strong relationship-building with the project team. Essential Responsibilities

Provide overall project leadership to a cross-functional team, ensuring clarity of objectives, approach and plan; promote collaboration; address resource and team challenges; hold team members accountable for on-time, on-scope, high-quality deliverables. Ensure successful project delivery within schedule, budget, scope and quality. Identify and manage stakeholders, ensuring their views and expectations are understood and communicated throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain project governance, facilitate Monthly Key Stakeholder Updates, and complete regular status reporting. Provide resource planning and set expectations for individuals and the project team. Ensure proper communications among stakeholders, management, vendors, and others; hold regular team meetings for updates. Provide management dashboards and briefings for senior sponsor meetings. Oversee development of training and communications plans for the rollout. Collaborate with bankers and end users to ensure go-live readiness, adoption, and customer satisfaction. Manage the project schedule with other leads (BA, SA, QA, Operations) to ensure detailed tasks are defined and tracked. Define and manage the project budget, including funding approval, tracking actual spend, and forecasting to project completion. Lead scope management and change control, driving scope definition, tracking changes, and presenting them to governance and executives as appropriate. Provide timely, concise communications to the project team, stakeholders, leadership, and committees using standardized status reporting throughout the project life cycle. Education And Experience

5-10 years of project management experience. Strong verbal and written communications skills. Self-motivated with a strong desire to contribute to the department and company success. Established track record of project management leadership and strategic planning experience.
