Sr DevOps Engineer - Networking
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr DevOps Engineer to join our infrastructure team. This role combines advanced networking expertise with modern DevOps practices to support, secure, and optimize our enterprise network and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and automation tools to streamline network operations and deployments. Key Responsibilities
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise routers and switches. Design and maintain secure network environments using Palo Alto firewalls. Implement and support dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP. Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate network provisioning and monitoring. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for network configurations. Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and security. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to network incidents. Required Skills
Strong experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls (configuration, policies, troubleshooting). Proficiency in routing and switching technologies, including OSPF and BGP. Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade routers and switches (Cisco, Juniper, etc.). Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Git, CI/CD). Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices. Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation and monitoring. Preferred Qualifications
Palo Alto Networks certifications (e.g., PCNSE). Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Knowledge of container networking (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Prometheus). Qualifications
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a DevOps role. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. About the Team
