Design and develop booking engine application architecture, database schema, and handshake interfaces between external systems as well as upstream Optima Allocation Engine. Document system design using Architectural diagrams, UML diagrams, and other design aids. Coordinate with application implementation teams to work in software implementation using Bank of America approved technologies, ensuring the implementation remains compliant with security and code standards as well as performance metrics laid by the enterprise architecture team. Use messaging and distributed technologies including IBM MQ to deliver high performance financial software. Utilize messaging technologies including Confluent KAFKA to perform complex high performing financial calculations. Utilize .NET Core and Microsoft SQL server to store large sets of data. Design complex software using Modular and system design skills including JIRA. Utilize stock market trading (Equities, Mutual Funds, and Fixed Income). Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite. Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree or equivalent in Technology (any), Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related. 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation. Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following: Using messaging and distributed technologies including IBM MQ to deliver high performance financial software. Utilizing messaging technologies including Confluent KAFKA to perform complex high performing financial calculations. Utilizing .NET Core and Microsoft SQL server to store large sets of data. Designing complex software using Modular and system design skills including JIRA. Utilizing stock market trading (Equities, Mutual Funds, and Fixed Income).
