Job Description
Utilize knowledge and analytics to develop and communicate timely, accurate, and actionable insights to the business through modeling, visualization, and optimization. Responsible for reporting, analyzing, and predicting operational processes, performance, and Key Performance Indicators. Communicate with site leadership, operations, and finance regarding efficiency, customer requirements, account-specific issues, and insights into the business, operations, and customer.
- Apply hindsight, insight, and foresight techniques to communicate complex findings and influence action
- Leverage knowledge of business and data structures to identify and anticipate problems solvable through data
- Use spreadsheets, databases, and relevant software for ongoing operational analysis
- Implement data visualization for discovery and timely insights to reduce Cycle Time to Action (CTA)
- Assist site operations in identifying areas for service improvement, cost reduction, and operational enhancements
- Support account startup analysis and report implementation as needed
- Develop standardized and ad hoc reports for site and/or customer needs
- Streamline and automate internal and external reporting processes
- Investigate and recommend new technologies and information systems
- Conduct feasibility analyses on processes and equipment to enhance efficiency
- Collaborate with Finance to develop models analyzing productivity and payroll, calculating cost benefits and business impacts, and proposing solutions
- Develop predictive models to support decision-making
- Design, develop, and implement data collection and reporting methods for Operations
- Track, plan, analyze, and forecast storage capacities, inventory levels, equipment, and labor needs
- Coordinate with Operations Systems to resolve technical issues promptly
- Coordinate with ILD group on customer solution modeling, providing data and insights for pursuits
- Assist finance and leadership in modeling annual labor budgets based on operational and profile changes
Required Education and Experience
- Undergraduate degree in business, logistics, mathematics, statistics, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 0-2 years of analytics experience
