As an Enterprise Solutions Architect on the GCR team, a typical day for you will include: Define, communicate, and maintain enterprise reference architectures across business, application, data, and technology domains. Engage with business stakeholders, product leaders, and agile teams to understand requirements and design scalable, future-ready solutions. Lead solution architecture efforts, providing detailed designs and hands-on support in .NET, Kubernetes, and AWS. Translate business and enterprise strategies into actionable technology roadmaps and end-to-end architectures. Define and enforce architecture standards, guidelines, and governance processes to ensure consistency and quality across solutions. Support project and product teams in solution design, integration, and technology selection, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals. Conduct evaluations of existing systems and technologies, identifying opportunities for modernization, consolidation, and optimization. Develop cost-benefit analyses and business cases to support technology investments. Drive proof-of-concepts, pilots, and innovation initiatives to validate emerging technologies and new architectural approaches. Extend the architecture runway for agile delivery teams by ensuring technologies and platforms are production-ready and well-integrated. Bring your skills and be inspired to achieve success. Experience:
Minimum of 710 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 5 years in solution and/or enterprise architecture roles. Demonstrated hands-on architecture and development experience with .NET, Kubernetes, and AWS in complex enterprise environments. Proven experience as an Enterprise or Solution Architect, with a track record of delivering both strategic and hands-on solutions. Strong technical expertise in: .NET and Microservices development, React UI development, Kubernetes (container orchestration, deployment, scaling, operations), AWS Cloud services and the AWS Well-Architected Framework. Experience designing cloud-native, distributed, and microservices-based applications. Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, SAFe) and governance practices. Experience managing vendor solutions, integrations, and third-party technologies. Skills:
Strong ability to influence, align, and communicate across diverse stakeholders, from executives to technical teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to both technical and business audiences. Self-starter with the ability to balance enterprise-level strategy and hands-on technical execution. Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred). Schedule / in-office requirements:
