Android Engineer
to take ownership of our Android development efforts and contribute to shaping our mobile app vision. Your Role
Own the development of Pika's next-generation Android applications, ensuring top-tier performance and seamless user experiences. Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to design and implement features that delight users. Drive the overall technical vision and architecture for the Android platform, ensuring scalability and robustness. Mentor and guide other Android engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. Partner with cross-functional teams to align on product goals and ensure seamless integration across platforms. Stay at the forefront of modern Android frameworks, tools, and design trends, driving continuous improvement. What We're Looking For Seasoned
professional, experienced in building and shipping consumer-facing Android applications. Mastery of
Kotlin
and expertise in the Android ecosystem, including Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and related tools. Direct work on UI/UX with modern frameworks and a strong understanding of Design principles. Proven track record of leading engineering efforts for apps live in the Google Play Store, showcasing exceptional design, functionality, and performance. Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience mentoring engineers and fostering team collaboration. Passion for user-focused design and an eye for detail. Preferred Skills Experience building
video or multimedia apps
is a strong plus. Knowledge of core animation, graphics, and media frameworks. What We Offer Competitive salary: $225,000-$275,000, depending on experience and location.
