Overview
TJX Companies is seeking a customer-focused associate to deliver a highly satisfied customer experience and maintain a clean, organized store environment. The role may be cross-trained across multiple areas to support business needs. Location: USA HomeGoods Store 1092 Morgantown WV. Pay
Base pay range: $12.00/hr - $12.50/hr. The position has a starting pay range of $12.00 to $12.50 per hour, with actual starting pay determined by factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. Role and Responsibilities
Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers. Supports and embodies a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect. Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customers according to operating procedures. Promotes credit and loyalty programs. Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and follows merchandising procedures and standards. Prepares merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards. Initiates and participates in store recovery and maintains overall store cleanliness and organization. Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback. Adheres to labor laws, policies, and procedures. Supports shrink reduction goals and programs; participates in safety awareness and maintains a safe environment. Performs other duties as assigned. Possesses excellent customer service skills. Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs. Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail. Capable of multi-tasking and adapting to changes in direction or unexpected situations. Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation. Works effectively with peers and supervisors. Retail customer experience is preferred. Benefits
