We are looking for an IT systems administrator to provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Redhat Enterprise Linux environment. Experience with Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods is required. You will work as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment, using troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS). You must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140/8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date. Qualifications you must have include a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience. Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Experience with Windows and/or Linux is required. Qualifications we prefer include experience with containerization technologies such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Tanzu, and Rancher. Experience with continuous integration, continuous delivery tools such as Gitlab, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps is also preferred. Experience with Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140/8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification and an operating system certification) is preferred. Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF, data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and solutions is also preferred. Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods is preferred. Experience with Microsoft WSUS, MECM, and/or Exchange is preferred. High Performance Computing (HPC) experience in a Linux environment is preferred. What we offer includes a salary range of 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
