Join us as our new Sr. Supply Chain Specialist. This position will work remotely, but must reside in Wisconsin. In this role youll make an impact by: Creating/Setting Inventory Levels; Monitoring levels and purchase items as necessary in accordance with set limits. Creating/Analyzing various cross-functional monthly reports Creating Purchase Orders and following up on them (internal approval, supplier acknowledgement) Obtaining quotations, evaluates options and conducts management of supplies As needed, identifying new sources of supply; work closely with Quality and R&D on vendor qualification. Staying abreast of supplier products, services and pricing trends in the industry. Tracking product/order status and prioritizes orders to business needs. Tracking deviations Working with Quality to ensure proper on-going vendor management Working with Finance to ensure proper credit and financial management Managing and build relationships - both internal and external Proactively developing supply solutions to meet the cost-reduction, product development and day-to-day production needs of the business Acting as liaison between procurement and other functional departments Placing orders with all suppliers as needed or requested Monitoring the status of incoming material shortages, solve receiving discrepancies, invoicing issues, and supplier corrective action plans Being a good partner - facilitating the success of our suppliers/partners Working to maximize processes within the ERP system as they relate to procurement Supporting the ERP system as a Super User Managing and participate in projects as directed, both independently and as part of a team Performing related duties as assigned. To succeed you must hold: Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3+ years of sourcing/purchasing experience. Ability to read, interpret and negotiate commercial contracts. Ability to handle mid-level negotiations with a suppliers management organization surrounding pricing, delivery or performance. Ability to identify opportunities to reduce the total landed cost of purchased products. Self-motivated, goal-oriented and able to handle multiple projects in a fast pace environment.
