Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and driven Project Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of low voltage and electrical system projects, including security, audiovisual, networking, and fire alarm installations. The ideal candidate will lead teams, ensure timely completion of projects, and maintain the highest standards in safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:· Project Planning & Management: Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and schedules from inception through completion.
· Team Coordination: Lead and manage field technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and internal staff across multiple project sites.
· Client & Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams, delivering clear updates and resolving project-related issues.
· Documentation: Maintain up-to-date project records including drawings, daily reports, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and punch lists.
· Financial Oversight: Track labor and material costs, manage subcontractor and supplier invoices, and oversee billing cycles to ensure profitability.
· Quality & Safety Assurance: Ensure projects comply with company standards, safety regulations, and applicable codes (NFPA, NEC, etc.).
Specific Duties:· Review and interpret construction documents, drawings, specifications, and BOMs.
· Develop detailed execution plans and labor forecasts.
· Manage material procurement and ensure timely delivery.
· Draft subcontractor agreements, scopes of work, and coordinate work on-site.
· Initiate and track change orders, including pricing and approvals.
· Lead progress meetings and job site walkthroughs.
· Resolve technical, logistical, or personnel challenges that arise during execution.
· Drive project closeout activities: commissioning, certifications, as-builts, and turnover documents.
· Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources for projects of varying complexity.· Technical Knowledge: Experience with low voltage systems such as CCTV, access control, AV, networking, or fire alarms.· Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with clients, engineers, and technicians.· Leadership: Proven experience in supervising and motivating multi-disciplinary teams.· Software Proficiency: Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, PlanGrid) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:· 3+ years of experience in project management within the electrical or low-voltage industry.· PMP, OSHA 30, or NICET certification is a plus.· Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites across Texas.
