Position Summary
The Project Manager provides leadership and oversight for assigned construction projects, managing day-to-day operations and guiding a team of Project Engineers and Co-Ops. This role is responsible for estimating support, preconstruction planning, and full-cycle project management to deliver safe, high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Support estimating efforts by attending pre-bid meetings, developing scopes, collecting bids, and preparing change order estimates.
Partner with the Preconstruction Department to conduct turnover meetings, review contracts, establish budgets, and develop project schedules and construction plans.
Manage all aspects of project delivery including client relationships, financial performance, subcontractor coordination, safety, constructability, and compliance.
Collaborate with the Superintendent to pre-plan major activities and assemble effective project teams.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development to Project Engineers and Co-Ops.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field with 7+ years of experience in construction; OR 11+ years of equivalent experience and/or training.
Proven ability to lead construction teams and manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of construction contracts, schedules, budgets, and safety practices.

Regular visits to active construction sites in varying weather conditions.

Ability to talk and hear regularly.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
