Blue Chip Talent is hiring: Front Desk Receptionist in Sterling Heights

Blue Chip Talent , in partnership with a manufacturing organization in Sterling Heights, is seeking a Receptionist . This role is responsible for providing professional front desk support and assisting HR and Finance teams with a range of administrative functions, from employee onboarding to internal communications.

Job Duties

• Greet and assist visitors, employees, and clients with professionalism
• Answer and route phone calls, take messages, and respond to general inquiries
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk and reception area
• Support HR with administrative tasks including interview scheduling, data entry, and employee record maintenance
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, including welcome packages and building tours
• Manage employee badge requests and training records, including JJ Keller orientation tracking
• Help plan and execute employee communications, HR events, and training schedules
• Track and report PTO and attendance metrics; support contingent workforce processes
• Monitor office/kitchen supplies and assist with internal meeting logistics
• Ensure visitor compliance with safety protocols and store related documentation
• Decorate the office for holidays and help foster a welcoming environment

Skills & Experience

Required

• Experience in an administrative or front desk role
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong organizational and data entry skills
• Familiarity with HR processes such as onboarding/offboarding
• High school diploma or equivalent

Desired

• Experience using JJ Keller or other training management systems
• Prior exposure to SharePoint or workforce management software
• Experience working within manufacturing or industrial environments
• Knowledge of attendance tracking tools such as AOD or similar
