Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and personnel files.
- Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes (new hire paperwork, orientation, exit checklists).
- Assist with benefits administration: enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries.
- Prepare HR-related documents (employment verification letters, reports, contracts, etc.).
- Provide administrative support for payroll processing and timekeeping.
- Help coordinate training sessions, workshops, and employee engagement activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and HR best practices.
- Serve as the first point of contact for routine employee questions related to policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Support workers’ compensation processes, including incident reporting, claim documentation, coordination with insurance providers, and employee follow-up.
- Assist with safety-related tasks, including maintaining OSHA logs, supporting safety training programs, monitoring compliance with safety policies, and helping coordinate workplace inspections and corrective actions.
- Support HR corporate activities projects and initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 1–2 years of HR or administrative experience preferred.
- Knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and workplace safety regulations (preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HRIS systems.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem-solving and proactive approach.
- Customer service orientation.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
