Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and personnel files.
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes (new hire paperwork, orientation, exit checklists).
  • Assist with benefits administration: enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries.
  • Prepare HR-related documents (employment verification letters, reports, contracts, etc.).
  • Provide administrative support for payroll processing and timekeeping.
  • Help coordinate training sessions, workshops, and employee engagement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and HR best practices.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for routine employee questions related to policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Support workers’ compensation processes, including incident reporting, claim documentation, coordination with insurance providers, and employee follow-up.
  • Assist with safety-related tasks, including maintaining OSHA logs, supporting safety training programs, monitoring compliance with safety policies, and helping coordinate workplace inspections and corrective actions.
  • Support HR corporate activities projects and initiatives as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 1–2 years of HR or administrative experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and workplace safety regulations (preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HRIS systems.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Problem-solving and proactive approach.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual English - Spanish
