Title: IT Business Analyst

Type: Full-time, hybrid (4 days/week in office)

Location: Charlotte, NC (Ballantyne)

Comp: $75-$90k

Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst to serve as the bridge between stakeholders, product leadership, and development teams. This role is critical in translating business needs into actionable requirements, ensuring alignment across product, engineering, and business stakeholders. The Business Analyst will report directly to the VP of Product.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document business and functional requirements.
• Collaborate with leadership to define product roadmaps and priorities.
• Translate needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflows.
• Manage product backlogs and requirements in JIRA, Azure DevOps, Asana, or similar tools.
• Partner with development teams (5+ members) to deliver features and enhancements.
• Conduct requirement workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process mapping.
• Validate feature releases through acceptance testing.
• Monitor product performance, gather feedback, and recommend improvements.
• Support reporting, data analysis, and light SQL queries as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Analyst.
• Proficiency with project management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, Asana, etc.).
• Experience collaborating with development teams.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Preferred: Experience with reporting tools and SQL.
