Advocacy is a key aspect of the role, with the CEO serving as the principal voice for the independent film and television sector and influencing policy on critical issues such as copyright, trade, and market access.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years' of senior leadership experience in the entertainment industry or related sectors, with a strong background in financial operations and a proven track record of leading complex organizations. Essential qualities include being a diplomatic communicator, a collaborative leader, and a persuasive advocate with an entrepreneurial mindset. The role requires a globally oriented individual who is culturally fluent and comfortable operating across international markets. Professional requirements for the position include a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred), and proficiency in English, with bilingual skills in French, Spanish, or German being a plus. The candidate should be a resilient and adaptable leader, capable of making bold, data-driven decisions in the face of uncertainty and evolving market conditions.
