Stamats, a digital marketing agency, is seeking a Digital Advertising Specialist to join our team. We are looking for an individual who can manage their time and effort effectively in a dynamic environment.
Two years' experience in digital advertising or a degree in marketing preferred, though not required. The successful applicant will have worked in Search, Social, and Display campaigns.
The ideal candidate will be able to regularly work in our Cedar Rapids Iowa office, though hybrid or completely remote work may be possible for the right candidate. We are open to recent local graduates with limited digital advertising experience; under those circumstances the job would be 100% in-office to provide support and additional training.
We work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The candidate needs to be able to complete planned tasks and be responsive to in-the-moment requests. This means the ability to interrupt a current task to address an urgent need and then seamlessly return to the paused task. In our agency, completing tasks correctly and on time are equally important.
Responsibilities
Campaign Optimization: As part of your routine tasks, you will perform daily, weekly, and monthly campaign optimizations across all assigned accounts to improve performance and increase lead conversions. This includes, but is not limited to:
Analyzing Search campaign performance by reviewing Search Query Reports to add negative keywords and monitoring Auction Insights. Optimizing Performance Max campaigns by reviewing asset group performance and insights. Refining display campaigns (video, banner, social media) by reviewing placement performance, and audience performance. This includes Social Media platform campaigns. Key Tasks & Campaign Creation:
Manage client ad budgets using proprietary spreadsheets and dashboards. Create new campaigns across all ad platforms as requested. This includes organizing and structuring the campaign in-platform following best practices, researching keyword targets, and writing effective ad copy for search, display, video, and social campaigns. Assist in determining target audiences using tools like Google Analytics and the Google Ads interface. Research and recommend 3rd party audiences in programmatic platforms. Collaborate with internal teams to set up client accounts on new ad platforms. Assist with connecting new campaigns or platforms to dashboards, reporting tools, and budget spreadsheets. Identify trends in campaign behavior to help the Digital Advertising Strategist proactively adjust marketing plans. Assist with monthly or ad hoc performance reports by collecting and visualizing data. Requirements

Competency in using Google Ads, Bing Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Google Analytics + Tag Manager. Experience with other ad platforms such as TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit, and Twitch, or the ability to learn them quickly. Previous experience working in a digital marketing agency is highly preferred. Certifications from Google Ads (Search, Display, Video, Measurement), Google Analytics, and one or more social media ad platforms. It is preferred that the candidate already has these qualifications, otherwise they are expected within 90 days of hiring. The ability to balance daily tasks with on-demand requests, prioritizing time and effort on the fly.
