This position is responsible for leading continuous data quality initiatives by developing and implementing robust assessment, evaluation, and analysis methodologies. The Lead Analyst establishes controls and guidelines for data quality measurement, adoption, and communication, including the proactive identification and management of data quality risks. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, this role is critical in monitoring data concerns and driving their remediation to uphold the highest data quality standards.Responsibilities: Supports activities to drive Data Quality measurement, produce Data Quality dashboards and reports, and implement Data Quality strategies to effectively govern data and improve Data QualityLead data improvement initiatives, processes, and creation of tools in line with requirementsLiaise with other areas of the firm to understand data challenges and solutions, and/or run data consumption demand and requirements Review quality analysis results and disposition data challenges through Citi's corresponding Data/Issue management processLead day to day activities to support data quality resolution, and to optimize metrics reporting process Report Data Quality issues through Citi's corresponding Data/Issue management processSupport senior management strategic vision Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating managing and reporting control issues with transparencyQualifications:6 years of experience with defining and implementing Data Quality programs; Banking or Finance industry preferred Experience with defining and implementing data quality programs Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how own area and others collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectivesAbility to monitor tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes, with the ability to anticipate and balance needs of multiple stakeholdersAbility to communicate effectively to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiencesCollaborates effectively by building partnerships and working well with others to meet shared objectivesAbility to work under pressure, facilitate discussionsExperience in data analysis and queries (e.g. SAS, SQL)Knowledge of Citi Data Governance Policy (CDGP) and Data Operating Model (DOM) execution is an advantageExperience in Data Quality Measurement and MonitoringEducation:Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experienceMaster's degree preferredThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
