About LifeMoves
LifeMoves is the largest and most effective provider of interim housing and services for homelessness in Silicon Valley since 1987. Our mission is to end homelessness by providing interim supportive housing, tailored services, and building collaborative partnerships. With over two dozen interim supportive housing communities and more on the way, LifeMoves gives our neighbors experiencing homelessness a temporary place to call home while providing intensive, customized case management through site-based programs and community outreach. Position Purpose
The Director of Events and Engagement leads the strategy and execution of high-impact engagement through LifeMoves events and donor-focused experiences and communications, strengthening relationships with current donors, inspiring continued support, and helping volunteers meaningfully connect with our mission. As a key cross-functional leader, this role supports the organization’s efforts to meet annual private revenue goals by producing experiences that build loyalty, deepen connection, and drive giving. The Director brings a deep understanding of donor experience, volunteer engagement, and values-based storytelling, with a proven track record of executing high-performing fundraising events. In addition to leading donor events, the Director will inform the strategy and systems that shape volunteer engagement—ensuring those experiences are mission-aligned, thoughtfully designed, and integrated into a broader journey that can lead to long-term support.
