Bistro Cook

is a highly visible, guest engaged role offering efficient and courteous service to our residents as they enjoy freshly prepared meals and beverages in our Bistro. The ideal Bistro Cook candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and demonstrates empathy. YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare, cook and serve high-quality, fresh food promptly and courteously Maintain the Bistro's readiness including flatware, condiments, and beverages Create decorative food displays Ensure food quality, freshness and adequate supply throughout the day Promote resident and guest participation and accommodate special requests Monitor and manage Bistro supplies and stock levels Assist with kitchen and restaurant tasks including setup, service and cleanup as needed Adhere to health department regulations and company sanitation standards Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English Minimum of 6 months Line Cook experience in banquet, catering, café, or bistro Proven success with basic Culinary skills such as knife handling, accurate measurements and cooking methods Ability to work assigned shifts including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community All offers of employment are conditional based on the successful completion of a State and Federal criminal background check, drug screen, job related physical and TB test.
