Thomas Jefferson University / Jefferson Health Job Overview: Train and support standardized patients (SPs) for medical and health professional education programs. Responsible for ensuring SPs accurately portray clinical cases for teaching, assessment, and curriculum evaluation. Work closely with faculty, staff, and SPs to maintain high-quality education standards. Key Responsibilities: Train standardized patients on case portrayal and checklist accuracy

Maintain and update case materials and SP training materials

Support case development and assist with modifications as needed

Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all case data

Ensure clinical exam rooms are prepared and equipment is operational

Enter and update information in the EMS (Education Management System) database

Perform quality assurance checks to ensure reliability and validity in SP assessments

Interact professionally with faculty, students, SPs, and staff

Other duties as assigned

Detail-oriented with organizational skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Comfortable using database systems (e.g., EMS)

Able to collaborate effectively in a team environment
