Sales and Marketing DirectorPosition Overview: The Director of Sales and Marketing for a Senior Living community is responsible for the development and execution of marketing strategies aimed at driving revenue growth, enhancing the community's visibility, and fostering positive relationships with prospective residents, families, and referral sources. This position requires leadership, creativity, and a strong understanding of the senior living industry to effectively communicate the benefits of the community and its services. The Director will manage the sales team, oversee marketing campaigns, and ensure that the community's brand and reputation remain strong and relevant in the market.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Sales and Marketing Leadership:Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.Create and manage annual marketing budgets and forecasts.Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including prospective residents, families, physicians, referral sources, and local businesses.Team Management and Development:Lead, mentor, and support the sales and marketing team in meeting and exceeding performance objectives.Develop and maintain performance metrics for the sales team, providing coaching and guidance to enhance their effectiveness.Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, share best practices, and promote a high-performance culture.Branding and Community Outreach:Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including print, digital, and social media content.Enhance the community's public image through outreach initiatives, including community events, local partnerships, and digital presence.Develop and implement strategies for building relationships with local healthcare professionals, senior care providers, and community organizations.Sales Process Optimization:Manage and continuously improve the sales process, from lead generation to closing.Ensure that the sales team follows a consultative, customer-focused approach to resident acquisition.Conduct tours, presentations, and consultations with prospective residents and their families, highlighting the benefits of the senior living community.Market Research and Reporting:Conduct ongoing market research to understand consumer behavior, local demographics, and competitive landscape.Provide regular reports on sales performance, marketing campaign effectiveness, and occupancy trends to senior leadership.Analyze lead conversion rates, occupancy levels, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure marketing strategies are successful.Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:Ensure all marketing materials and sales processes are in compliance with state and federal regulations related to senior living marketing and advertising.Work closely with the community's legal team to ensure adherence to fair marketing practices and senior living industry standards.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (Master's degree preferred).Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in sales and marketing, with a focus on senior living or healthcare industries.Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.Proven track record in managing a team and achieving sales/occupancy goals.Experience with digital marketing, including social media platforms, SEO, and email campaigns.Understanding of the senior living industry, including industry regulations and best practices.Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.Compassionate, customer-centric approach to sales and marketing, with a passion for improving the lives of seniors.Working Conditions:Full-time position, with some evening and weekend hours as needed.Occasional travel may be required for outreach events and professional development opportunities.Compensation:Competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings plan.
