Is comfortable coordinating patient care with clinicians, case managers, and program assistants. Leverages knowledge of the substance abusing population, treatment planning, and the field of human social services to facilitate patient rehabilitation.To thrive in this role, you must be able to:Supervise clinical staff and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, CARF standards, and clinic and corporate policies and proceduresReview group progress notes, monthly reports, client assessments, intake paperwork, and treatment plansReview staff time sheets, mileage logs, and expense reportsCoordinate with the outpatient clinical management team to ensure all outpatient groups, screenings, and education classes are coveredReview employee incident reports and discuss concerns with staff as neededCoordinate with Clinical Manager to review candidate applications, and conduct interviews for open clinical positionsPerform chart audits and communicate results to staffConduct treatment plan reviews to assess levels of patient care Maintain an awareness of substance abuse symptoms, signs, and best practice treatment Requirements Licensed Professional CADC-II or CADC-III (required)Bachelor's degree in substance use or behavioral health-related field (required)At least six years of combined full-time substance use/behavioral health work experience and post high school education in a field related to behavioral health At least two years of experience in substance use disorder counseling, supervision, and training of behavioral health staff Ability to travel to assigned CMS sites at least once a week.#CONSLAbout Community Medical ServicesCommunity Medical Services (CMS) is a CARF accredited addiction treatment program providing services in the form of outpatient medication-assisted treatment and one on one and group counseling to those seeking help with their opioid use disorder.
