Project Manager - TI HVAC Systems (Los Angeles, CA)Snapshot / Role Overview We're seeking a Project Manager in Los Angeles, CA to lead tenant improvement HVAC projects for commercial office spaces, managing system installations and modifications for modern workplace environments. Impact Statement•Lead HVAC installations that create comfortable and efficient commercial work environments •Drive successful tenant improvement projects through expert project management and technical coordination •Ensure HVAC systems meet modern workplace needs and energy efficiency standards •Build lasting client relationships that support continued business growth •Contribute to innovative HVAC solutions for evolving commercial space requirements Responsibilities•Manage tenant improvement HVAC projects from initial planning through project closeout •Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and building owners on HVAC system requirements •Develop comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans •Lead HVAC installation teams including technicians, sheet metal workers, and controls specialists •Ensure compliance with building codes, energy standards, and permit requirements •Manage equipment procurement, delivery coordination, and installation scheduling •Conduct regular project meetings with clients and provide detailed progress reporting •Handle contract administration, change order management, and project documentation •Ensure quality control standards and safety compliance throughout HVAC installations •Support business development activities and maintain strong client relationships RequirementsMust-Haves•5+ years experience managing commercial HVAC projects or tenant improvement construction •Strong technical knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, controls, and installation methods •Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead multidisciplinary teams •Excellent communication and client relationship management skills •Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field •Valid driver's license and ability to travel to multiple project locations Nice-to-Haves•Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred •Advanced HVAC certifications or mechanical engineering background •Experience with building automation systems and smart building technologies •Established relationships in the Los Angeles commercial real estate market
