Essential Job Responsibilities: Following are the specific job responsibilities and duties necessary to accomplish the job purpose.Key ResponsibilitiesVerify and document all outgoing shipments.Compare identifying information and verify counts, weights, and measurements of goods against bills of lading, invoices, and orders.Determine appropriate shipping methods by applying knowledge of procedures, routes, and rates; affix proper shipping labels on packaged goods.Assemble shipping containers or select preassembled containers; use spacers, fillers, and protective padding to ensure safe transport.Inspect outgoing shipments to confirm compliance with specifications and order requirements.Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.Accurately pull and pack products based on daily customer orders.Ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time and to specification.Operate sit-down forklifts and side loaders to safely move, load, and unload materials from delivery trucks to platforms, storage, or work areas.Perform additional duties as assigned to support receiving operations, such as:Unpack and inspect incoming shipments, reject damaged goods, record shortages, and communicate with shippers to resolve discrepancies.Route incoming and outgoing items to proper departments or storage areas.Essential Skills, Experience and Education: Following are the skills, experience, education and related course work typically required or expected to perform the essential job functions:At least 2 years of continuous receiving/shipping experienceAt least 2 years' experience operating a forklift in industrial/manufacturing settingAt least 2 years of CRM/ERP experience, Syteline preferredMust have time management skillsMust be able to speak, read and write in EnglishEssential Physical Requirements: The physical factors and working conditions required or expected while performing the essential functions of the job are described below:Regularly required to lift, carry, pull and push 50lbs. unassistedRegularly standing, stooping, kneeling, bending and turningExposed to outdoor weather temperaturesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Required Work Hours and Schedules: The typical work hours and schedules for the job are indicated below, including the percentage and type of travel, if required.Must be able to work between 7:00 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday thru FridayOccasional Saturdays, as required to meet Production needs Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
