seeking a hands-on
ETL Developer
to join a Kanban-based agile delivery team supporting a high-performance
data warehouse environment . This role demands deep technical expertise in
Ab Initio ,
Teradata , and
UNIX-based ETL orchestration , with a focus on scalable, secure, and efficient data processing. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using
Ab Initio
and
Autosys . Optimize data pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability within a
Teradata
environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions aligned with business needs. Apply
data warehouse architecture principles
to support analytics and reporting. Participate in Kanban ceremonies and contribute to continuous delivery cycles. Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and operational standards. Required Skills & Experience
5+ years
of software engineering or equivalent experience (consulting, military, education). Proven experience in
data warehouse environments
and large-scale data processing. Strong proficiency in: Ab Initio
(ETL development) Teradata
/ advanced
SQL UNIX/Linux
shell scripting Autosys
job scheduling Solid grasp of
data warehouse concepts , including dimensional modeling and processing architectures. Agile delivery experience, ideally in
Kanban
environments. Preferred Attributes
Strategic thinker with the ability to navigate complex, multi-faceted engineering challenges. Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with stakeholders and client personnel. Comfortable working in a hybrid onsite/offsite model with a consistent
3-day onsite
requirement.
