About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Lending Officer to lead and oversee all lending operations. The successful candidate will be tasked with the development and execution of lending strategies, policies, and procedures that promote profitable growth and effectively manage credit risk. This executive role requires close collaboration with the executive team to ensure that the lending division's objectives are in line with the company's overall goals. The CLO will also be responsible for the performance of lending teams and must ensure that all activities are in accordance with the company's established policies, procedures, and core values.
Applicants for the Chief Lending Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years' lending experience, with a strong emphasis on leadership. The role demands an individual with excellent knowledge of lending products, credit underwriting, and portfolio management. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is a proven track record of working with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac loan products and guidelines. A solid background in SBA lending and the management of participation loans is also required.
