*Job Summary*

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Teachers for a variety of locations (Lake Zurich, Hawthorn Woods, and Island Lake) and classrooms (Infants, Toddlers, Twos, and Preschool) to join our educational team. The Lead Teacher will play a crucial role in fostering a positive learning environment for children, guiding them through their educational journey while promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This position requires strong leadership skills, creativity in lesson planning, and the ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively.
*Duties* * Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of students. * Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment. * Utilize behavior management techniques to support students' individual needs and promote positive interactions among peers. * Oversee the daily activities of the classroom, ensuring that all children are engaged and learning effectively. * Collaborate with other educators to develop curriculum and instructional strategies that enhance student learning experiences. * Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents and guardians regarding their child's development. * Implement early intervention strategies for children who may require additional support in their learning journey. * Foster strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues to create a supportive educational community.
*Qualifications* * Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is preferred. * Experience working with children in preschool or early childhood settings is highly desirable. * Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education. * Familiarity with special education practices is a plus. * Strong skills in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management. * Ability to implement effective behavior management strategies tailored to individual student needs. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff members. * A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that supports all learners.
